116. It almost counts.

For shame. I haven't posted an outfit since December 15th! Wow. That's the longest I've gone without posting one I think. So here's comes the overdue Christmas outfits. I wish I'd remembered to participate in today's EBEW, but today was the first day of classes so that wasn't a priority.

Black + White | Everybody, Everywear

Class jacket / Scarf - Le Chateau / Dress - Christmas gift / Leggings - Dynamite / Boots - Steve Madden

This was the Christmas day outfit. Slightly black and white though, right? Linking up just because haha. The dress is actually more like a purple-grey pattern with black and I quite love it. I have a tendency to wear gifted clothes rather quickly after receiving them. In this case, it was Christmas morning and I had no clue what to put on for Boyfriend's family dinner. This was a great choice. You can't see my hidden shameless Santa socks, obviously the best part of my outfit. I get the Christmas obsession from my Mom, who is now reading this! Hi Mommyyyy :)

And of course, we got pictures. We both look a little weird, but here's my boy. Counting the days til he visits, and currently loving MSN and Skype for their communication abilities.

Stay tuned for another post on what I've been up to! I can actually post pictures now!

Til next time!

113. Waterproof

I've been doing some researching, and the weather forecasts I've seen for England are actually pretty reassuring. Reassuring in the sense that I already know what I'm in for. It rained 3 days last week and it's been damp since then. I'm used to the wet-cold so I think I'll be able to handle it pretty well. Lots of layers of knits, long sleeves, and jackets are necessities. These picks, except for the umbrella and the Hunter wellies are from Gap & Old Navy, two of my favourite stores. The 1969 jeans are well worth the money, even though I always manage to find them on sale :)

111. Warmth

I'm dreaming of all things warm and cozy. I've got a few posts lined up for this week like this, while I bake with my Mom, of the kinds of clothes I plan on wearing on my trips and during my time in the UK. They center around a few of my most drool-worthy websites of course. This set centers around Modcloth, a website I fawn over on a regular basis but haven't ever ordered from. I love all of the pretty dresses and comfy looking sweaters, among many others. I may have to give in to my longing soon!

99. Sometimes things take you by surprise.

So this week has been an interesting week so far. The big dot on my face is my coldsore, isn't it fun? So annoying!

Monday was a normal day. I felt fine, work as usual and a somewhat shorter day due to allergy appointment and meeting at the university. Went to yoga that night even, after I came home to the darkness and took these pictures! I wore this for a picture taking profile thing (long story), and except for the cold sore I like it. Stupid bump.

Then Tuesday happened. I was going to write up some more posts this week, but a flu came on suddenly and began to kick my ass. I even wore a cute outfit and intended to post it, but felt so crappy that after I got home from work I headed straight to bed. I'm only now starting to recover, on this sort-of snow day where half the city is closed but I don't actually think my office is closed. Snow morning or sick day, I haven't decided yet.

Hoping if you're in snow you're coping with it, and if you aren't be thankful for that too! Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American readers, hope you're enjoying it with lots of turkey and family!

Til next time!
